RAPIDTOOL: The Future of Fast, Safe, and Smart Rebar Tying

If you’ve ever tied rebar with pliers, you know how slow and physically draining it is. There’s no guarantee that you’ll get repeatable results every time. A rebar tying machine takes that strain and inconsistency out of the job by automating each tie, quickly and cleanly.

RAPIDTOOL is one of the trusted names in rebar processing machines, supplying battery-powered rebar tying machines with intelligent controls and a safety-focused design. Backed by high-capacity batteries, these machines can go a long way in helping your crew work faster across a range of job sites while reducing physical strain and producing tight, uniform ties.

    RT‑40A

RAPIDTOOL’s RT‑40A rebar tying machine lets you handle most everyday tying tasks with speed and control. It’s designed to tie 12mm to 14mm steel sizes efficiently, so you can use it for slab work or mesh, as well as footings.

With the RT-40A, you can tie up to two 20mm steel bars in 0.6 seconds. It runs on an 18V Li-ion 4.0 Ah battery that takes only 90 minutes to charge. This battery has enough power to let you do over 5,000 ties with two wraps or over 4,500 ties with 3 wraps per charge.

Ideal for fast, adjustable ties, the RT‑40A is also compact and lightweight, making it easy to manoeuvre in tighter spaces. With this tool, you can move through mesh or pad reinforcement jobs more quickly.

    RT‑60A

The RAPIDTOOL RT‑60A Rebar Tying Machine is designed for larger ties that exceed the capacity of smaller tiers, making it excellent for securing large structural steel intersections with a total diameter of up to 60mm.

With the RT-60A, you can tie 30mm to 60mm (approximately 28 x 32 mm) bars in 0.8 seconds. You’ll experience the same rapid tying workflow on the RT-60A as you would on the RT-40A, but with the muscle and wrap capacity needed for larger steel diameters. Despite having the same battery as its smaller cousin, it lets you do over 4,500 ties with 3 wraps or over 4,000 ties with 4 wraps per charge. Adjustable wraps and tension let you tailor each tie to the reinforcement design, while consistent output per battery keeps you and your crew productive throughout your shift.

Ideal for Ideal for tying reinforcing steel or GFRP in various applications such as concrete floors, concrete foundations, concrete walls, precast products, road and bridge works, swimming pool walls, retaining walls, underfloor heating and much more!

What benefits can you get from RAPIDTOOL’s rebar tying machines?

Both the RT-40A and RT-60A have these features to simplify rebar tying for you:

    • An automatic wire feed that twists ties and cuts tying times dramatically
    • Wrap control and digital tension to keep your ties consistent every time
    • Lightweight ergonomic design to reduce your risk of repetitive strain injuries
    • Large tie counts per battery cycle to keep you productive and minimise battery swaps

Whether you’re working with slabs or columns, RAPIDTOOL’s rebar tying machine will free you from repetitive manual tying and give you a predictable output with cleaner finished reinforcement.

    No more bending

Besides automating rebar tying, RAPIDTOOL also considers how your body moves while on the job. With their RT-EXA Electronic Extension Arm, you can tie steel bars from a standing position without bending over while using either the RT-40A or RT-60A.

This accessory connects directly to the tying machine and places the trigger at the handle of an extendable shaft. You just aim and pull the trigger, and let the tool tie the rebar for you without stressing your wrists and lower back. The RT-EXA is perfect for tying floor mesh, or any situation where you’re required to bend over repeatedly.

    Designed for your safety

Every RAPIDTOOL rebar tying machine includes built-in safeguards that protect both you and the machine:

    • Trigger lock prevents accidental discharge
    • A removable battery for added safety when adjusting wraps or loading wire
    • Automatic cut-off that protects battery and motor systems

RAPIDTOOL machines eliminate your need to manually twist and pull wires, reducing fatigue and injury risk. That makes them physically safer to use, especially on a long workday.

Easy wire loading, smart feeding system

Since RAPIDTOOL’s machines use the standard TWG‑50A wire coils (0.8 mm), you can simply insert the coil reel into the quick-access reel stay. The gear-based feeding system ensures that the wire moves smoothly into place with each tie.

    The full system includes:

    • Mechanical feed via brake gear and feeding gear
    • No-slip insertion
    • Automatic cutting after each tie
    • Reel stay lock for secure wire position

With a RAPIDTOOL rebar tying machine, you’ll spend less time fighting with tangled coils and more time tying.

    Built for tough conditions

RAPIDTOOL’s rebar tying machines are designed to withstand the dry, rugged conditions of any construction site. Each unit weighs around 2.6 to 2.8 kg with the battery, making it light enough for you to use all day, while heavy-duty enough to survive most field abuse.

Use the battery chargers with standard site power. You’ll know when your rebar tying machine is ready to go again by checking the green/red LED indicators.

    Finish the job cleanly

RAPIDTOOL rebar tying machines let you tie steel bars with consistent tension and cut the wire automatically, giving you neater wraps and less post-pour cleanup. You also won’t have to worry about messy ties that can cause weak joints and exposed wire ends.

Save time maintaining your rebar tying machines

To avoid problems and damage, take your time to care for your RAPIDTOOL rebar tying machine by:

    • Removing debris from the wire feed channel
    • Cleaning the brake and feeding gears
    • Storing at room temperature (~20 °C) in a dry place
    • Avoiding exposure to moisture, oil, or dust

It only takes a few minutes of cleaning at the end of each day to keep your tool in top form and ready for the next job!
